\"ToWe Gather to Celebrate God’s Grace and to Encourage Each Other.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our God is good and gracious, and we give thanks and offer songs of praise in celebration of His love for us. Our participation in the worship life of the congregation is a public witness of our confidence in God. Our gatherings enable us to demonstrate our love and support for one another.<\/p>\n

It is the desire of our church to worship, honor, and glorify the Lord in every aspect of its music ministry. Music is important in the life of the believer and in the collective worship in the church. We believe God is the Creator of music, and that He designed music for two specific purposes: adoration and instruction.<\/p>\n

“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:18-20).<\/p>\n“Praise the Lord
\nPraise God in his sanctuary;
\npraise him in his mighty heavens.
\nPraise him for his acts of power;
\npraise him for his surpassing greatness.
\nPraise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
\npraise him with the harp and lyre,
\npraise him with timbrel and dancing,
\npraise him with the strings and pipe,
\npraise him with the clash of cymbals,
\npraise him with resounding cymbals.
\nLet everything that has breath praise the Lord
\nPraise the Lord” (Psalm 150).\n

It is our hope that our Sunday gatherings provide us opportunities to encourage and support one another. As Paul writes,<\/p>\n

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing” (1 Thessalonians 5:11).<\/p>\n

Community can be a very vague term. For us it is all about a very real and powerful promise that we make to our neighbors and to each other. We promise to stand beside each other. We promise to stand beside each other in all circumstances and strive at all times to be helpful to one another.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
